Roche Multifunctional Workspace Building

Location: Grenzach-Whylen, Germany
Architecture: Christ & Gantenbein
Interior & Furniture Design: INCHfurniture

Spatial generosity defines the appearance of the Roche Multifunctional Workspace Building. Anchored in the campus history of Roche Pharma, it embraces change in a formal, spatial, and urbanistic reinterpretation of the firm's architectural and cultural traditions. The building provides a generous, non-hierarchical space for the employees to meet and work.

Fritz is the new interior of Roche multifunctional workspace, designed by INCHfurniture and crafted by the architects Christ & Gantenbein. These flexible office spaces resemble a creative studio and an artist's workshop. Here, ideas can be freely exchanged and further developed, demanding an exceptional acoustic open floor plan.

We are proud that our ARCHISONIC® material made from recycled PET bottles was integrated into the creations of INCHfurniture. Every object in the building was carefully curated for three years of extensive hard work. The space is divided by custom-developed spatial elements such as Creative Labs, Flexible Workstations, Agility Spaces, Meeting and Silent Hubs, Sky Boxes, and Forest Circles.
