The Sound of Colour

ARCHISONIC® Felt is our high-performance acoustic absorber. Instead of extracting new material, the product relies on the upcycling of single-used plastic bottles. 88 post-consumer PET bottles are used for every square meter of finished material. ARCHISONIC® is available in 32 carefully curated colours, combined into eight colour families.

ARCHISONIC® Felt is our environmentally friendly acoustic solution made from recycled plastic bottles.

ARCHISONIC® Felt is probably the most versatile building material with acoustic properties. It is used in architecture as well as in the furniture industry. To meet the different requirements in construction, we offer our absorbers in two different material thicknesses, 12 and 24mm.

All building materials have certain acoustic properties, as they either absorb, reflect or transmit sound in the room. The acoustic performance depends mainly on the structure of the material. The more open the structure, the more powerful it is. The felt-like constellation of our ARCHISONIC® material, unlike hard materials such as wood or glass, allows it to absorb as many sound waves as possible.

The range of 32 colours matching the collection of ARCHISONIC® Cotton, our fully circular material based on cellulose.

One square meter of ARCHISONIC® Felt is made from 88 recycled plastic bottles.

Our manufacturing process is done in the same traditional way as conventional felt.

The entire ARCHISONIC® Felt product range is LEED and Cradle to Cradle Certified®.

Due to its flexible application options, it offers the design and architecture community limitless possibilities for addressing acoustic challenges.

We are open to collaborations with international design companies, artists, or brands and are always happy to push the boundaries of what is possible.

We regularly have environmental compatibility tested by independent institutes and certifications.
